How to Make Drinking Glasses with Old Beer Bottles

Have you ever seen those drinking glasses made from old beer bottles and thought they were cool?  Well, the process to make one is actually a lot more simple than you think!  Since we’re so creative here at BeerRightNow, we’ve decided to share with you how to accomplish this awesome task!

There are a lot of ways to create a glass, many involving such ingredients like a string, nail polish remover, fire, and water.  NONE of that is necessary!  Here’s how to make the perfect glass.

1) Using a scorer, score around the bottle in the spot where you want to make the mouth of the glass.

2) Boil water.  It helps if you have it in a kettle or teapot.

3) Running cold water in the sink, alternate between pouring boiled water on the bottle where the scored part is and placing it under the cold water.

4) The glass will pop, leaving the cup part.

5) Sand the top and inside to get rid of all the sharp edges.
