What Does Boxed Wine Say About You? (it’s better than you think!)

Often when we hear the term boxed wine, we assume that it is cheap and of poorer quality than that in a chilled bottle. However, boxed wine is a drinking contender well worth paying some attention to. There are a few noteworthy things to consider about boxed wine. One, it is portable. Technically you can also carry a bottle around anywhere too, but it isn’t resealable (There are rubber stoppers, but who buys those??). Two, it lasts a lot longer than bottled wine. One of the most frustrating points about bottled wine is that it spoils too quickly. If you are in the mood for just one glass, you have to incorporate at least 4 more glasses into your diet by the end of the next two days or it’s bye bye wine. Three, boxed wine holds a lot more wine than one bottle, and for a much cheaper price. If you need another reason why boxed wine is an excellent contender, I think it might also be necessary to mention that it is more eco-friendly when boxed and takes less to make! Also, boxed wine comes in various sizes so that you can have as many as 4 bottles conveniently, or 3 glasses. A bottle is pretty standard.

With all that said, there are different types of boxed wine and the kind you choose could say a lot about your personality. What does your boxed wine say about you?

250ml of boxed wine is basically a juice box for grown-ups. If you drink these, it says that you appreciate being portable while also being able to indulge in some of the finer beverages. These types of wine boxes are perfect for picnics, lunch breaks, or sneaking into movies. XD

The next size up, roughly 500ml, is about 3 glasses of wine. If you are a frequent drinker of this, it means you enjoy the buzz that wine gives you, as well as the chilling feeling after finishing your last sip.

3-5 liters are for you boxies who appreciate saving money and getting more. You get excited at the fact that you have 4-7 bottles of wine in your fridge sitting there that can continue to sit there for months and not go bad! You’re so savvy!

If you haven’t tried boxed wine, I would suggest giving it a try. Of course, boxed wine might not measure up to the fancy really expensive bottled wine, but for everyday drinking, it will do just fine. :)
