Hola BeerRightNow users! It’s summer and we understand that the time has come where you want to leave the coop and fly to a vacation in Sunny (and dry hehe) California! Well, unless you have saved up a small fortune, chances are you are planning on indulging in more cost-friendly fun like the beach! With that said, being the seasoned drinker you are, we have decided to provide you with this convenient list of beaches in the great C-A that you are allowed to drink on. No sneaking necessary. Maybe if you bring enough beer, it won’t bother you that the ocean is nearly dried up, haha. Ok, enough with the drought jokes. Here’s the list:

1. Kehoe Beach
Indulge in an ice cold beer here with complete freedom and without worrying about getting in trouble. If you want to bring a keg, however, don’t. Those are strictly prohibited.

2. Carmel Beach
This is a great place for all you surfers at heart. Anything goes here! Bring a large cooler and prepare for a day of relaxation.

3. Paradise Cove Beach
Might be a little costly to park at this private beach, but you can’t beat the peacefulness of this little secluded setup.

There are not many beaches in CA that advertise that alcohol consumption is allowed. However, if you want to drink (and risk fines) be sure to take some of the necessary common sense precautions:

Don’t bring glass bottles.
Throw your trash away immediately when finished.
Don’t get DRUNK if you can’t handle yourself.
Stay incognito. (Koozies, unmarked cups, etc. You can view the article on BeerRightNow on how to sneak beer to the pool)

Happy surfing and boozing, comrades.
