Day Drinking VS Nights Out Drinking

One day we were sitting around, waiting for you guys to place an order on BeerRightNow.com and put us to work when we had a discussion…what’s the difference between day drinking and drinking on a night out? Well, after scouring the ends of the Earth…aka our minds, this is what we have come up with. Drumroll Please.

Day Drinking – The consensus we have agreed to is that day drinking is simply for leisure and pleasure. Day drinking should NOT ever involve getting plastered, texting your ex, or losing your job. For that reason, day drinking should be minimized and should not be used to achieve the coveted buzz. It is ok to indulge in a few beers, but an entire 6 pack is pushing it. You are permitted to have ONE glass of wine or ONE mixed drink if you must, but if that one turns to two, you’re in for a wild day. You shouldn’t reach the peak of your buzz at 2pm. You’ll be out before 9. And you’ll miss all the fun! All in all, keep the day drinking to a minimum and save the heavy stuff for the night. That’s when it’s both acceptable and encouraged.

Night Out Drinking – This is where you let loose. Drink away your problems, order something new, mix drink it up! The night is when people come alive and this should be no different for you. After a stressful week at work, you did good not drowning in hatred for your boss over a bottle of Cognac, so you definitely deserve the whole bottle at night! As long as that night isn’t followed by a work day. Ever heard the expression, “freaks come out at night”? It’s true. Let your inner freak out. Just make sure you do two things for us: 1) Drink responsibly. 2) Use protection. We don’t want any of your freak findings to be spread to others. :)

Until next time, cheers. :)
