It’s almost that time of the year again – Beer Garden Season! Many cities across the nation are beginning to gear up for another season of summertime beer gardens and I’m sure it’s safe to say we are not alone when to say… we can hardly wait! As a matter of fact, the trend for bars to have summertime beer gardens has grown to be so popular that one must begin to wonder if there is really any other way to drink beer besides in a beer garden?

For our fellow beer lovers who love this trend as much as we do, there are a few cities you should really try to visit specifically for the beer gardens!

Of course I have to start with my own city – Philadelphia. Speaking on personal experience, Philly is almost disgustingly obsessed with beer gardens. Once summertime hits they are everywhere! Basically everything and anything is turned into a beer garden just to satisfy the craving Philadelphians have for the whole environment!

Next there is of course NYC – although it is sort of space limited and highly condensed, the Big Apple still manages to find many ways to squeeze in beer gardens whether they are on the island or slightly dispersed in the surrounding neighborhoods outside of Manhattan.

Austin. Never been but I have to say just by seeing and hearing what people have to say – Austin really must be the new place to be! I would say part of the reason is because of their beer gardens. Based one what I have come across (as well as some of you I’m sure) Austin offers your traditional beer garden experience as you would see up north, but does a good job at also emulating the Texas vibe so you don’t forget where you really are.

Now, these are only a few of the many cities that are hopping on to the beer garden wagon. As I’m sure everyone’s been to at least one or one that was close to being a beer garden… I want to hear about it! So, add some tips of your own in the comments.

As always don’t forget to call your favorite drinking buddies at BeerRightNow before or after you hit up the beer garden!

Cheers,
