Work is over and boy was it a long day!  You can’t want to open a cold beer or pour a glass of wine.  But then you remember the first rule of drinking: Never drink alone.  So what do you do?  Why you hop in that trusty hoopty of yours and put put to the nearest bar.  You know you have T minus 8 minutes before Happy Hour, so you put a move on it!

Happy hour is like a gift from above when it comes to a large thirst and a small purse, but how do you make sure that you get maximum drinkage for minimum spendage?  Not to worry, we here at Beerrightnow are more than happy to share with you the secret to taking full advantage of happy hour specials.  You’re welcome.

The first secret to getting the most out of happy hour specials is to figure out when they are.  Of course this seems obvious, but it doesn’t hurt to mention it anyway.  Many times, you’ll find that various restaurants and bars offer happy hour specials at different times.  I’d make a schedule if I were you.  If it were up to me, I’d be “happy” from 5pm-10pm.

Secondly, be sure to take some friends.  Nothing is worse than drinking by yourself.  Plus, if you have company, you can push being a DD off on someone else and indulge to your heart’s content!

Next, you should set aside the amount you are willing to spend for happy hour specials.  This could quite possibly be the most important step.  Why?  Because you don’t want your karaoke rendition of “It’s 5 O’clock Somewhere” and your Whiskey Sours to spend all of your paycheck you get on Friday before it arrives in your bank account, that’s why.

Before going out.  Set a limit. And stick to it.  Chances are, if you’re such a drinking connoisseur that you are able to scout out happy hour specials, you know how much alcohol for you is too much.  Please drink responsibly.

The last thing is to enjoy yourself!  You have earned this casual night of drinking, just make sure to enjoy responsibly!  Let us know about your happy hour experiences!  Comment below!  Cheers.
