With all of the different drinks out there, sometimes it’s nice just to go back to the basics. With just three ingredients you can whip yourself up some tasty and ever-so-fancy drinks in no time at all.

1. A little dirty martini

All you need for this is gin or vodka, dry vermouth and then olive juice. Shake or stir; it’s your choice! This is a staple drink for anyone that is looking to up their martini-making game. Love it!

2. Get tropical with a daiquiri

Sure, there are tons of different daiquiris out there, and yes, they can be frozen, but it should all boil down to just three ingredients: light rum, lime juice, and sugar. That’s all you need to get a little tropical! Of course, if you want to up your daiquiri game, you could add in some other flavors, like strawberry or pineapple.

3. Take a trip down south with a mint julep

All you need to get a little taste of the south is bourbon, mint and a little bit of sugar. That’s it! This is a famous cocktail that tastes so delicious when you pour it over ice, add a mint sprig and then sip on it on your porch. Perfect summer concoction!

4. Grapefruit Shandy is the way to go

If you are looking for a great day drinking cocktail, this is the one for you! A little grapefruit juice, some simple syrup, and a beer. That’s all you need to make this excellent drink that is so easy to make. It’s also a low-octane concoction, which can help with the hangover.

5. Who has ever tried a sidecar?

Well, that can now be you! Impress your friends with your liquor knowledge and whip them up a cocktail of brandy, orange liqueur, and lemon juice. That’s all it takes to make an amazing sidecar which is fruity, packed with citrus and tastes so delicious.
